Best family car to buy with cheap road tax?
pilot bearing or the clutchThe throw out bearing doesn't make a chirp sound. It's more like the rattle of loose metal banging together! A chirp would be more like a main bearing or connecting rod bearing readying itself for "seizure"!
How do I set my timing on a '56 Ford 354 ci Hemi?
If the noise is associated with the foot on the clutch, it could be a through out bearing. If the noise is associated with the clutch depressed and the car in gear, it would most likely be the pilot bearing. If the noise is when clutch is released, but quiet when clutch pressed in and car in gear, it sounds like the gearbox input shaft bearing.Anyone know of any ideas to make my ford fous look better?
