First open the hood. Where the air filter box is you will see two clips on the side of the over hang part of the box. Unhook the clips and take that part of. You will now see the battery. Next take the flat head screwdriver and unscrew the hose that goes to the air box cover. Take the cover off and now take out the air box (it pulls out with a couple of pulls). You will need a 13 millimeter or a ½ inch socket and a long extension to take out the hold down and 10 millimeter socket r wrench to take of the battery terminals

Disconnect the positive and negative cables. Usually there's some kind of battery holder that you'll need to remove. Sometimes that could get tricky...unless your good at putting things back together you might want to get it installed by someone else. Take out old battery, put in new, and reinstall battery holder...done

Im sure this is a little late.....The battery is under the air filter cover. Remove the cover, disconnect battery cables (negative first) the remove the 13mm battery hold down bolt....
