Which oil for a ford focus 1.6 trend 2004 (zetec se?

Question:
today i bought a focus 1.6 zetec se 2004, only 22000 klm on the clock, but, just arrived home, 100 kilometres away, small smoke from engine (burning oil), temp gauge normal, no oil light, the engine bay is covered in oil, the garage forgot to put the oil filler cap back on ! :-( so my first worry, have i benn lucky and escape damaging my engine ? or will it have done unseen damage, and second part, what oil do i have to fill it back up with.

Has any one got a peugeot 206 1.1l t reg?

Hopefully you didn't run her too low on oil, and the oil pressure was maintained during your drive. I always recommend Synthetic oil (such as Mobil 1.) It is significantly more expensive, however you only need to change it every 10,000 miles or so (the bottle says 15,000, but i like to be cautious.) The stuff is absolutely amazing and won't break down nearly as quickly as conventional oil. With that said be sure to continue to change your filter EVERY 3000 miles!!

Will 35" mud tires on 17" rims fit on a 2000 dodge dakota quad cab with a 3" body kit??

Change the oil & filter, clean the engine bay you got lucky. Your local auto parts store can advise you which oil you require for your local weather conditions.
