Question:
I just had an accident with a chevy cavalier 2001 that I bought 2 weeks ago, I am no mechanic but the radiator got bent inward. but all things in the engine is still in place of course the front end looks terrible. I was at fault at the accident and have no collision or comprehensive insurance. the car was towed to autbody and they told me that the car is totaled and will never be drivable again. how much money can I get for it. Nb air bags were deployed
Answers:
Scrap is at a high price right now. In NC junk cars are bringing 9 dollars per hundred pounds (minus tires, battery and radiator). That means a rust bucket pulled out the weeds is worth around 350 bucks here. You may want to consider selling it as a parts car if the motor andd tranmission are good, and the rest of the body and interior are good.
Will I get married to Ricky in the future and will I have a charger, es lade, and a gator?
yea when the air bags deploy, there is no way never again u can get that taged or inspected , enyways u can get about $250-500 for that car at a salvage yard , i would just sell parts off of it , you would make more money like that , parts still cost alot at a salvage yard, they are going to make double or more selling parts off of it then what they paid you for it , good luckWhich would you rather drive; a Lancer Evo XIII, or the WRX STi and why?
if a body shop told you that then the repairs are more than the cars value ask them if they want it for parts or put it in the paper under parts for sell if it still starts then leave it that way so evey one who wants it can hear it run before they buy it most people just want a trans or engine or go buy a car same year and make that has a blown engine and swap them. cars with bad motors are around 500-800 look around its cheaper than a new car.here is a sample of what you can do.
1993 and 1997 accord hoods are the same?
sorry that your car got totaled I would recomend that you sell it to a junkyard and get the money out of it and or just sell the parts out of it or just keep the car and straighten out the body yourself and save the money of the autobody yourself sorry that it happened to uMore Questions & Answers ...
