Question:
I don't have a lot to spend on this truck, but I dont want another junk motor. We already invested around 4,000 in the motor we have now, just to keep it running. the cost of the tranny rebuild was more than exspected so Im not able to invest quite as much in the motor. If anyone knows of a place where I can find a good rebulid please let me know

I would say that your best bet for an affordable, yet quality rebuild would be U.S.engines, it would also profit you to check with New York Block Exchange. They both have pretty good warranties, and the prices are way down there in comparison to Jasper Engines and Marshall engines. Hope this is helpful.your local ford dealer can get you a crate motor that carries a warranty. We also use, as somone else mentioned, Jasper. They are a littl pricy though but have great support and great warranty's
