good motor and good trans swap can't go wrong with the combination, but you are definitely going to have to upgrade the rear end and the one you are talking about is a good one with real good gears so you are on the right track.

You'll need a new shaft. 383 will kill that S10 differential' I'd look into a rear end upgrade.
