How can the Ford Escape be advertised as 100% Hybrid?

Question:
Can anyone define 100% Hybrid?
I would rather see 100% electric.

Answers:

Who has a honda accord (2000 and up??)?

pretty much the same thing, only hybrid is different from just electric because a hybrid uses gas to make electric. an electric motor uses a battery to operate the engine which gives it way less power. since many people need or want power, that's why they made the hybrid to raise the fuel economy and to still give you enough power and a quieter engine.

What is the average cost of labor to have some install the sr20det into your 240sx?

It costs too much to make an electric car. It will either cost enough that people will refuse to buy it or the company will lose money selling it at a loss. GM and Toyota both sold them in the 90s and stopped cause it was too expensive and people didnt want them.
