92 ford explorer, the 4x4 doesn't work. the 4x4 pushbutton lights don't light up.any common problems?,ideas?

I checked the fuses and they are ok. any ideas to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. does anyone know where to get a GOOD! repair guide?

my golf is a 2000 gttdi six speed is it a pd model? it has a red di on the badge?

the contol module may have stopped working it is located in the rear of the suv behind the left drivers side trim panel i think you can access it from the removable panel. good luck!

On a 1998 I had the same problem. I was told It was the switch, also the 4x4 transfer case. $$$ Guess what, I dis-connected the battery over night and It worked the next day after being stuck In Low all-day.
