I have a 1991 Toyota Camry Stationwagon. Good reliable car, however?

the dashboard instrument light / dimmer does not work. I have checked the fuses, and all seems to be OK. All the lights on the dashboard, along with all the other car lights actually work. Can somebody enlighten me as to what the problem could be and how to fix it? Many thx.

raplace the head light switch the dimmer is a round spring and their is a plastic wheel with a metal small post on it it should make contact with the spring for it to dimmer and brighten the lights if it is not making contact the plastic wheel is either broken or the tab broke off so replace the head light switch and it will work again
