Why cant the Car Makers take a small car like Swift give it a Sporty-Race-car like look?

witha body like a Cheverolet Corvet They could offer it in 2 options a V8 engine or a 4cylinder engine?
Who would not jump for it? At least it could seat 4 instead of the Coupes available where only 2 could sit?
Do they make cars for families or Individuals?

Car manufacturers base their decisions on which category the car is going to be sold as well as the dermographic make-up of the buyer. For example, Ferrari will never make a family car and Mack (trucks) will never make two door coupes. But you never know....In the case of the Swift, they are aimed at the 'majority' which is people looking for cheap and efficient runabouts. Anyone who wants to modify or 'sportify' their ride belongs in the minority group, which is not profitable to the manufacturer.
