the 86 is a drifting machine, but it is not as fast as the evo...although it is really difficult to drift with an all wheel drive, but it can de done...it is true that if the evo is converted to only a rwd, then for sure the evo would win!

well if the evo 7 has a rear wheel drive conversion, then it would win (lighter car, more hp, better drifting). however, in the stock form the 86 will most likely win. However it IS possible for the evo to drift (even withA WD) if the driver is the experienced. no car has a definte advantage, so it all boils down to skill.

it's all about power to weight ratio really as well as suspenion tuning.. the Lancer Evolutions are much larger cars than the old Corollas. Though i'd think the Evo would be more stable since it would have much newer technology under it and yes it can be converted to rwd just like the Skyline GTRs. so drifting won't be a problem.
