I live in a redneck town in where we have alot of vehicles like yours. You might get 600 if your lucky but dont be ashamed if you end up having to take less.I personally have boughten alot of old 4x4's in your condition for as low as 100 bucks.Keep with the price of 600,that way you have room to deal with perspective buyers on price negotiating.Good luck. From 0 to 60 how fast is the1999 Ford contour se Auto trans ?

Special Ed and Big Al are on a roll. if your not in a hurry and the floorboards hold up, they will come. stick with $600.ps. your question sounds like the makings of an overhaulin episode.
I wouldn't pay that much, but maybe someone would.
Are you sure its a W and not an M? My 78 has a 351M in it. You can tell the difference by the valve covers. If you look at the valve cover from above, the W motors are trapezoidal and have 6 bolts, whereas the M motors are rectangular and have 8 bolts. As far as price, I bought mine for 1000, but it is a rust free Arizona truck with a $hitload of dents in it. I'd say 500-600 is a good starting place, because an innovative mechanically inclined person could always swap another body on that chassis.
