Question:
No heat
Answers:
What was a british car made some time between 1900 and 1910?
I own a shop, and can tell you the resistor is always in the heater box where the heater core is. Follow the heater hoses until you find where they go into the box. Now, look around on the box for the resistor. The fan blows air across the heater core to put heat into the cabin. The resistor must have air flowing across it or else it will burn in two. This is because the air flow keeps it from getting red hot like a stove eye, thus burning the coils in two. It has a cluster of wires that plug on to the resistor, and there will be 2-4 small bolts that hold it in place. The resistor protrudes down inside the box, and is easy to identify, and/or change. The resistor only controls the speeds of the blower motor, and has nothing to do with it not having heat. Look around the top side of the box on the passenger side, around where the blower motor, and heater hoses go.Glad to help out, Good Luck!
What is the power (HP) needed for a 280Kg motorcycle to go with 100 Km/h ?
having no heat wouldnt be the sign of a bad resistor. The only symptom of a bad resistor, is a fan that doesnt work on any settings except high. The reason why is that the blower motor is a 1 speed motor, and the resistor cuts voltage going to it, making it a multiple speed motor. The low setting runs off 2-4 volts, the medium 5-10, the high is a direct 12v connection, so no resistor is needed. If the fan doesnt work at all, then the issue is not the resistor, its more then likely the relay or fuse... and the cover of the fuse box should tell you what number it is.
Ive never seen a mazda whos heater resistor wasnt directly behind the heater box on the firewall. There are usually two screws holding it in, and a wiring harness going to it. If youve seen one heater resistor on a mazda, youve seen them all.
