Most likely, as with many cars and trucks, they have a governor on them to limit their speed. So the hp really doesn't matter for top speed only for take off from the line and passing at highway speeds.

Pay less attention to top speed, and more attention to acceleration. Top speeds are rarely attainable, certainly not on public roads, and honestly driving 150mph isn't really all that fun. Acceleration is where its at. How "quick" a car is determines how fun it is. I don't know much about earlier models but the newer 245hp 6-speed Accords are pretty quick. I've heard of them going as quick as 14.5 at the track bone stock. (1/4 mile)
