What's the difference between a Silverado & a Cheyenne chevy truck?

Answers:

I own a shop, and a Chevy Pickup truck. As far as I'm concerned, there is not a lot of difference between the two. The Silverado is a more high end truck, meaning it has more options than the Cheyenne. Not much difference, but enough to call it something else. If I'm not mistaken the Cheyenne is an older truck, and the Silverado is the newer truck. They were both top of the line in their time, but since the newer is the Silverado, I got to say it is the more higher end.

Their is a little difference, the Silverado usualy came with a 5.0 V8 or a 5.7 V8. The Cheyenne usualy came with a 4.3 V6 or a 5.0 V8. But their the same trany, frame, and body. The Silverado generaly came with a slightly bigger engine for work use. The Cheyenne was basicly a every day driver with decsent gas milage. All the engines are interchangable, Even the V6. The fuel injection plugs in just like the V8, and the computer will work. TBI models only.
