Is the "FORD" emblem anywhere on the Mustang?? If not...why?

It depends on the year If I'm correct the 1964-1966 had the emblem on the hood. The 1967-1969 had them on the trunk lid. I don't really know much about the newer ones but my friend has a 1986 and it has the FORD oval emblem on the hub caps. I have seen one or two of the newest Mustang body styles with the oval on the stock rims but most people replace them or get custom ones to add to their personal look. Yes, at least on my 2004 Mach 1 there is. It is located to the right of the rear license plate. There is none on the front portion of the car though.

I think she is refering to the S197. My 06 has ford emblems on all 4 wheels. The body itself only says ford in the big fake gas cap emblem on the rear, but its not the oval. I don't know exactly why they didn't put the blue oval on it, but I think it has something to either do with keeping the car clean of emblems in general or because they didn't use the big blue oval back in the 60's. The car doesn't say mustang on it anywhere either. I just have the big running horse in the grille and at the top of the windshield.
