1998 cabrio...?

I have a 1998 VW Cabrio with electric top. But when I unlatch it and push the butten to put the top down, it makes a noise like its working but it doesn't. Whats going on?

Your pump and cables may be disconnected. Or you pump has to be rebuilt as it does not enough power to drop the top. Take it to an Independant VW shop and have them look at it.

You can lower the top manually it you want it down.
