They are probably rare in your area. I live in Philadelphia and I see one twice a week. My friend even has one.It is a rare car because they were made from 1988-1992 1st gen, and 1993-1997 2nd Gen. So... since you want the v6 that means you want only the 93-97. Goto www.mx6.com they have a huge for sale section and I bet you that someone would have the car you're looking for. Don't hesitate to send me a finders fee (joking)... but seriously my user name on that site is blakfreestyle so if you join let me know. Many of the members have 2 or 3 mx6's. I used to have 2probes and now i only have 1. So selfish people like me may limit your access to cars too.

I would suggest expanding your search and look at Probe GT, which have the V6 as well.The MX-6 (with V6) and Probe GT were built on the same assembly lines (Ford/Mazda Team-Up).

The Probe was just given a sportier look, the Mazda, a more conversative look, but essentially, they're the same car.
