My 1st thought is you should have done all this long before replacing the pump and tank..anywho.was it running good then suddenly stopped or it ran great until you parked it then nothing the next day??timing belt or chain could be broke or too worn...could also be a fuseable link or a regular fuse to the starter.follow the wires from the + post down to the starter..One large red one and a smaller one..check to ensure wires not broken or grounding out. do you have a distributor cap,? coil?, HEI?...if d-cap then check rotor button for wear orclean..if needed replace rotor and cap. Sometimes a small crack in the cap will cause a crossfire and the engine will not run. Theres several more things you can do but you didn't give me much to work with...hope it helps

i own a repair shop and make sure that everything has good ground on it,and that its actually picking up gas,other wise look and make sure it doesn't have a collapsed line on it anywhere,a friend of mine has one of these he pulls his boat with,and about once a year he has to replace the line back at the tank,it will close up on it cutting off the fuel supply for it,with all that being new on it,it has to be something really simple,and when you find it,you,ll probably wonder how you missed it,good luck with it,if you don't get it going ,post another question ,and i,ll try and help as best that i can with it,good luck,hope this helps.Is the lincoln town car (2006) expensive?
You don't give enough information for us to give you any kind of solution. But having an 1886 vehicle would give you a problem.Is it possible to use a lamborghini exhuast in a chevy (s10)?
You say it still won't crank. That tells me that the engine will not move and has nothing to do with the fuel.
Does the battery turn over the engine and it won't start?

wont crank or it wont fire?
If it wont crank then you need to look at you battery or starter and maybe your cap and rotor.
if it wont fire.then what was wrong in the first place?
Did you check to see if you were getting fuel to you carb of injectors? if your not then...
Did you change the fuel filter when you did the work...?
If you are getting fuel did you check for spark at the spark plugs?

take your plug wire off of your coil and watch for spark when you turn the motor. No spark bad coil or bad ignition control module. Module is on your distributor im guessing you have the V8. If you have spark then check your fuel pump by turning your ignition switch to on with out turning the motor over and you should here it hum. If it hums its ok then I would get a timing light and have someone crank the motor over while you check to see if your timing is too advanced or the opposite. Its also possible that your timing chain has slipped so good luck man I know what its like to be in your situation I had the same problem just this week and found out my timing advanced because the gear on my camshaft is worn. plus some jerk dump crap in my tankHow to remove a radio from a mazada mx 5?
