You will have to remove the cluster and change the bulb. On a 2002 Cavalier, this is quite a project as the entire top of the dash has to come out. First start with the fuse panel on the side of the dash and take it off.......driver's side. There is a panel on the passengers side also that comes out. There is a screw holding the dash in behind each of these. Take the trim out around the radio. This piece extends all the way up to the speedometer. As you have the screws out, you will still have to pull gently on all the plastic parts, because there are clips that need to be undone. There are hidden screws all around there......take them out. Even the glove box has to come out.....there will be screws facing up mounting the dash. After all of this is removed, you will be able to take out the instrument cluster. The bulb is a twist-in in the back of the cluster, you do not have to open it. GOOD LUCK!Toyota warehouse images or info?
i own a repair shop,and you,ll have to pull the dash out of it,,and replace the bulb for it,,they go in from the back but the dash unit has to come out,don't worry its only a few screws that hold this in,,once you remove the trim from around the dash area,of it,,it takes about an hour to do this,,good luck,i hope this help,s.Will a chevy 4.3 flywheel work on a 350?
