Question:
Are all the engines in a 1999 Manual (stick) dodge Neon the same? If so, what is it? Is it a single or dual exhaust?
Answers:
What is a monsoon sound system, and do all Volkswagen Beetles come with it?
you got a single overhead cam and a dual overhead cam ones a 2.0 the others a 2.4. they are single exhaust on all neons. If you need to swap out engines any one from 96-99 will work...95 was a picky year some will work some won't so its best to go from 96-99 as for exhaust all singles and you can put dual on after the cat.Does a '97 Subaru Legacy GT have THREE catalytic convertors?
not exhaust, Camthere's the 2.0L SOHC and DOHC
single overhead cam
dual overhead cam
opt for the dual, more guts.
How do you turn off the horn/honk when using the keyless entry for 2006 Pt Cruiser?
Yes the engines are the same. the neon came with single exhaust but you can put dual pipes after the cat.Where and how can I buy a BMW 530 used car in Iraq and transit/ship it to Iran? (I live in Iran)?
From the factory they do came with a single pipe. There were two different 2.0L engines available in the Dodge/Plymouth Neon for '99. Both the 132hp standard single overhead cam (SOHC) and the performance oriented 150hp double overhead cam (DOHC) engines were mated to the manual transmission. The DOHC cars were distinguished by the bulge in the hood and the dual outlet muffler. Both engines had a single exhaust. The DOHC engine was cammed for more torque at higher rpm to increase its high-speed performance. A good web site to check out for first generation Neon information is : http://www.neons.org/.
