Mpg 06 rav 4?

i got 06 toyota rav 4 because they over sell you it gets 18 to 23 mpg i fill the tank i only get 168 mpg whats going on , in the sticker it said $1,468 averge a year for gas.somebody help me. auto trans.

And on your question the EPA does not test cars in real world scenarios with real world driving so that means that all EPA Gas Ratings are overinflated, weather it be a Toyota, Ford, Chevy, ect. They are all listed wrong.

Another possibility might be that amount of miles on your RAV4. I've heard that it takes about 5,000 to 10,000 miles to before you reach your normal gas mileage. I can't find anything on the internet about that right now, so thats really just hearsay.
