Question:
What do you guys think is the best model/year/engine by Volkswagen for tuning? Honestly, Im not a big fan of working on 1.8T motors, but if they have alot of potential then I can deal with them.
Location of engine oil in punto 2005?
Im looking to build a street/strip car that will be a friday night/weekend sort of car if you catch my drift. I have an 01 Sebring LXI coupe (Chrysler badged Eclipse) which Is bone stock and I intend to keep it that way. Daily driver sort of car, never really beaten on.
How to repair 1994 Honda Accord rear brakes?
As far as the VW goes, Id like to keep the initial build around/under 10K. Im a mechanic by trade, so the mechanical aspect of a build would not be difficult, mostly just the financial part. What kind of car, engine and mods do you guys recommend that could keep the build fairly reasonable?
My for focus 02 is pinking but there is no maf sensor by the air intake?

If I buy a base Acura RSX can I get it supercharged?
alright, it is good you came here. i've been working on vdubs for a while now and have prob been under a few hundred...thousand of them haha. i drive an old MK3 VR6 turbo Jetta. I did this setup myself and i push a little over 400hp on a gt30r turbo. the whole setup, parts, tuning, it was prob close to $10k. it is all quality work too ( i dont ebay junk). i did a lot of the work myself which saved a ton of money (and since you are a mechanic as well im sure you plan on doing a lot of it). VR6 turbo is an awesome setup. if you do it right, you'll eat z06's all day long (from a roll haha). but dont rule out the 1.8t's. a GT28rs upgrade on it is killer too and they are super easy to work on. the only problem with the 1.8t tho is that you will have to find a 2002+. youll want to go with the 180hp motor. that means youll have to find a fairly newer car which of course can cost you more. so thats what i got for ya. this is my first VR6 turbo i have owned but have worked on a handful of them. i have owned 2 1.8ts, one of the with the GT28rs turbo up. i do this stuff everyday and have seen endless combinations. in the end, 10k in either one of these engines will get you far and won't be let down. feel free to hit me up with any more questions.Need some feedback on 2002 honda civic ex 2 door coupe?

The Jetta that the character Jesse had in the first Fast & Furious movie was sweet...but mechaically, I don't if it was that competitive...pick up a issue of Eurotuner or something...a few folks roll with V-Dub in the states but in Europe especially England and Germany...the Volkswagon Golf or in it's souped up form...The GTI ..is a legend.sort of llike a Poor Man's BMW M3...1.8 is standard...I've read about cars like 2 and 3 litres stuffed in there...maybe a Passat would be better..it's a bigger and if I'm correct ...it's got a 3 or 4 litre engine.I would Vip style with air suspension, 19 inch rims, a widebody kit, tinted windows, metallic or flip flop candy paint, shave all the emblems, and throw a turbo charger in there...dual exhaust, ceramic brakes, Nos; etc...pimp it out but don't get corny with those underbody neon lights and what not...if it's a 4 door...suicide the rear ones..Hey,
I'd say don't tune what everyone else is tuning. Be unique and pick something that isn't seen much... Rather than the 1.8 , or the GTI toy around with a 2.0 and see what you can max out with that..
Good Luck

Who drove the #94 Taurus Ford in the Northeast Busch Series?
P.S. I've heard the 1.8 heads on the 2.0 block gets perfect compression for turbo charging.. read up on it first though.
Lowering a 4x4 vehicles tire pressure has what primary advantage when off-roading?
I'm working on a 2002 GTi w/ 1.8T, and its a BLAST. However, the most sought after VW combo is a MK2 GTI (1985-1992) with either a 1.8T or VR6-turbo engine swap. The MK2's are cheap, light, look great, and the 1.8T fits perfectly in the engine bay.Are Honda parts higher than Toyota parts?

most people would say vr6 turboed. my personal recommendation is buy a 1992-1999 jetta or golf/gti with a 4 cyl 2.0 8v engine. as was previously mentioned, an 8v block with a 16v head from previous years produces pretty good compression ratios for turbocharging... then do just that. the lighter 4 cylinder would be a lot of fun to drive if you do a bit of work on the suspension. the power-weight ratio would be impressive. good luck!
