I was told to look in the rear where the jack is, no code there or in my manual. Found a 7 digit code on the white box under the dash on passenger side. Also found the same code when i pulled back on the plastic frame on the back pass. door. All 7 digit codes. My code to use is supposed to be only 5 digits. Did anyone else find their code anywhere or know what to do. I realllllly dont want to give the dealership more money to find it out. Please help me thanks!

If the second last digit is 3-4 from the code you found, it is perfect!

I am sure you tried the 7 digit and it did not work. You need to disconnect the battery (so the code resets) you will then be able to use the original code, which should be the seven digits that you found.
Try using the first 5, it might read it better.

The 3-4 button when pressed after your code will unlock all of the doors instead of just the driver. Press 1-2 button then and your back hatch will pop open.
Press 7-8 and 9-0 at the same time and your doors will lock. You can do this at any time, you do not need to know your code.
If the number you have is the wrong number, I would call up a ford manufacturer. They might do it for free. You could also try a different dealership or 2. You might get someone who will do it for free. (act interested in a new car for your second car and bring up the code thing and see if they will do it for free, in hopes they will get a sale)
2002 thru 2007 is in the right panel behind the middle row window. It is below the seat belt mechanism. You have to pull the top plastic panel off, then loosen the lower panel to be able to see the face of the computer module. The code is on a sticker on the face of the module.
