I work for Mercedes and Neil's answer is as good as you'll get! The main differences depend on the options on the car anyway more than the Classic/Elegance/Avantgarde bit.
Avantgarde does have blue glass as well though (not on A/B class for the pedants out there!) and that is the worht the extra money for me!! LOL!
