After you spend $1500 to replace the rack a couple times, maybe you'll figure out that there is a REASON that Chevy doesn't do that.
What do you guys think about a Nissan 350Z...im planning to buy a second hand one.?
depending on the backspacing on the rims, and if u do some supension mods, and maybe even a little inner fender work, u can fit them.what would be the demand forecasting for the car cost RS.1lakh by tata motors?
I just went through a rim sizing problem for another reason and found that the bigger diameter rim fits a lower profile tire and the overall diameter of tire and rim does not vary much.I think it should work just fine.
does any body know about warranty claims?
first off - Why the hell would you want to? What a collosal waste of money.why are the tires orange on the new 2008 Volkswagen Tiguan?
secondly - probably not. even with extremely low profile tires the overall diameter of the 2 would likely be way too big for the wheel well which means a lot of rubbing and the front tires wouldn't be able to turn properly making it unsafe and quite possibly impossible to drive. The only way around it would be to raise the body of the car up above the wheels or to entirely remove the wheel wells.
Anyway you slice it you're gonna burn a hell of a lot of money to end up with a car that will look like total sh!t.
Yes they will fit, but only with some heavy modifications. Would probably shine pretty good too, but you'll be slicing it thin on the looks vs. cost factor. Don't forget to factor in all the extra hatred you will have attracted from the law, which will add to the overall cost of being the #1 stunna. What about those jack boys? I wouldn't make my car too nice if I had to live in the hood....some of these fools are real thirsty, and'll kill you over your car in a heartbeat. Whatever you do, just think it out thouroughly and have fun.
2004 Suburban with a 5.3 liter. Is it a 323 c.i. or a 325 c.i.?
#1 Do not alter the back space when shopping for tire rims. Find your present back space by laying one of your standard rims on the floor sreet face down. Lay a straightedge across the rim and measure down at a flat spot near any lug hole. Write this dimention down. This is YOUR true backspace number. You san usually go an insh or two wider but no more! Measure the circumference of one of your standard tires. Go to: Tireack.com and click on tire that's your standard size. Open up spec..This page has your size tire on it. Read across to to the left. On the top of one column you will find RPM (Revolutions Per Mile) Note that number. As you change to a larger tire the RPM's will start dropping. Rember, your standard RPM is where your speedopmeter is set. As the RPM drops (larger tires) your spedo. drops also. 15 feet per mile less will not hurt the spedo. reading. As I se it you are planning to toss on tall rims with tires zero side walls. I just had a thought. Whwn you go to tireack.com check the police option tires for your car, as well as the circumference. See how many feet per mile they roll out to. Have fun with your project but don't get carried away.More Questions & Answers ...
