Just how rugged is the Toyota Rav 4?

Question:
I am seriously considering a Rav 4. I love everything about it , but I am really conscerned about the off roading ability. What kind of off roading can it handle? Can it climb through ravines and trenches? Can it handle off the road (and off dirt road even) boony hopping? I know it's not a rock climber, but rating it 1 through 5, how would you rate a Rav 4's off roading ability?

Short answer: NOT VERY. It's a road car. If you want offroading, the FJ may be a better choice. The Land Cruiser would be best. :)
