Question:
The car does not start and makes a clicking noice continuously when I try to give ignition?
I try to give ignition and and the car makes continous clicking sound (click-click-click-click-click... and the noice stops once I stop trying to give ignition. I jump started my car and it worked. My car worked all day until this morning again same cliking sound, so I had to use my jump box again to start it. So I thought the problem was the batery a put a new one and last 2 days . But today morning the its giving the same clicking noice like yesterday and I cannot start the car. I took the starter to Autozone, they test it and it is just fine, they also check the alternator and appers to be OK. The battery cables and terminals are clean.

Ok i came across a similar problem on a Mazda once. The same annoying clicking sound. it is not the starter it is the solenoid attached to the side of the starter. get that replaced and it might help. either that or get your gearbox checked
