Question:
has anyone had any problems with the tire system? my mechanic said there was something wrong with the rims...the guy @ the chrysler dealer said it was something i did (of course). it's under warranty but he's blaming me and telling me it's not covered. the "tire system needs service soon" light is on constantly. anyone have anything like this?

I plan to buy hyundai getz in m'sia, is it worth to buy?
Did you have new tires mounted any time recently? If yes, then it's possible that the person who changed the tires damaged a sensor while changing them. If so, then they should be responsible for replacing it.
I took my 2004 Toyota Corolla in and had my front brake pads replaced?
Other than that, there's not much you could have done to damage the sensor, they do go bad sometimes.
i've had problems with the tires going low but nothing else. that light does seem to come on a lot. i just had some brake work done and the oil changed and the check engine soon light has remained on.
Which car do you think is cooler?
could you take it to another chyrsler dealer to have it looked at? we have the extended warranty too so i feel your pain.good luck
It seems like your vehicle has the new tire pressure monitor system, it checks the pressure of the tires and send the information to a module and when the pressure is out of range it sets a light, sometimes the sensors go bad, the guy at the dealer can't know what it is until a trained tech takes a look' I advise you call the district manager of Chrysler and complain. your car has to be checked and is under the warranty, raise some hell and your car will be fixed, good luck
What is the easiest and cheapest way to get 5-10 Hp on an Isuzu Rodeo (190 Hp)?
it's possible that one or a couple sensors are bad. but if you had the tires rotated and didn't have the system reset that may cause a similar problem.if it's still under warranty call Chrysler and complain.i worked at a Chrysler dealer for 12 years and we never did a customer like those guys did you. I can't remember but look in your owners manual . I think it may have the reset info in it.Anybody who owns a honda element really like it?
Hope this helps some.
