Definately the tires. Either they are out-of-round from the factory (happens more than you would think) or balanced incorrectly, or there is some other manufacturing flaw. Out of round or a flaw are the most likely culprits because balance issues USUALLY show up at mid-high speeds rather than slower speeds. What would cause a 95 neon 5-speed to rock front to back while maintaining speed ?
This may be caused by a defect in the tire or a badly worn spot. You can inspect the tire for anything not looking right with the sidewalls and treads.Sometimes a weak spot in the tire can cause a bubble in the sidewall.Better still.Just replace the tire with your spare and see if the problem persists. If it still occurs. Then it may be a suspension or drive link problem with that side of the vehicle.IE: A defective CV Shaft. If after you change the tire and the problem has gone away.Just replace the tire with the correct tire size for that side.I'm thinking of buying a 2004 Hyundai Sonata..Anybody know anything about this car?
You've got a bad tire. To prove it, switch the front tires. I'm betting that your "bump" will move with the tire.More Questions & Answers ...
