Do you or anyone you know have problems with their 2004 Chev. Suburban?

Question:
My truck has been in the shop more than I care to say for the a/c blowing hot air and in the winter it blows cool air, then all the sudden it will work fine on its own? I have two other friends who have had the same problem but not to the extent that I have had. I have even spoke with the owner of the dealership. To no avail. It is really frustrating any suggestions? (besides a new car, which is not an option right now.)

1985 Camaro?

Yeah, my friend Matt has a Burban and he has had many problems with the heat system in it, and being that we had a few weeks a month ago when we didn't even see the positive side of the thermometer, it is kind of needed. I don't know what it is about the '04s, but they aren't of the best quality. Good luck to you, but know you're not alone bud.

1996 Ford Escort?

it sounds like the air doors are sticking or are not getting the signal to move in the right direction. if the signals are coming out of the switch for heat and cool then the whole air box has to come out of the dash to correct. when changing the switch for the vents from de-frost to vent to floor is that working?
