Greg, the rule of thumb here is there 61 cubic inches per liter so multiply 5 times 61 and divide one liter into ten parts. that will be 6.1 liters, now add 305+18.3 = 323.3 cubic inches. Hope this solved some confusion.5.3 liter transforms to 323.4 cubic inches.
mathematicly 5.3 turns out to 323ci but a the 5.3 is really just the GM 327 that many people know by name.
