1986 900 Turbo - what's up with the fuses?
Yes, it will/does. From the factory, your truck comes with a resonator/silencer on the intake. This is done so that the truck is a little bit quiter as thats what most people want. Resonators come in all different shapes and sizes, but almost all cars have them. Some people will testify that a CAI makes their exhaust louder too, but I'd say the jury is still out on that.P.S. Just kidding
Intakes don't make engines louder. The only way they would is if they make it significantly more powerful. Besides its a V6. It won't sound good anyway. Putting pipes on a V6 or a four banger sounds crappy. The only 6 cyl. that I ever heard sound cool was a straight 6.
what would win in a race a chevy silverado ss or a lotus elise ?
is this a ranger, or wrangler..Any way the cold air intake will make the intake a little louder, you will hear a slight roar from the front of the vehicle, but not the exhaust.
How can I tell the differance between a real 96 impala and an ss clone?
If you want to make the exhaust louder, you will need to install, or have installed for you, an aftermarket muffler.
