I have a 2007 chevy cobalt with 5500 miles. I wanna trade it for a 2003 audi a6 that cost $15000. The cobalt is $17000..its logical for the dealer to do a trade and i pay the overide...right?

You need a bit of strategy here.. find out what they will sell you the Audi for all cash. Then get a few quotes and prices on what your vehicle is worth both wholesale and retail at KBB - Carmax etc. This way you won't get burned at both ends.Does any one know were you can get the exhaust tailpipe covers for a 03 plate bmw m3 (quad exhaust)?
no u do not own the car they wont let youright about 17000 dollars...the 15,000 for the Audi and 3 thousand penalty in turning back the lease.
You can trade it in, but the balance of what remainds on your loan will roll into your new Audi. So please keep in mind that you will be apying double for that Audi, that is if a bank will accept the loan. It really is not a good idea even though I can see why you would want an Audi as opposed to the Cobalt. If you opt to trade, make sure you are aware of the Blue Book Value of your car and bring in the print outs! Good Luck!
