Question:
My 2000 Jeep Cherokee has an apparent clog in the heater core. I detect a pungent coolant odor in the cab but no leaks are evident there or under the hood. Before I go through the headache of removing the core, I wanted to flush it first. Anyone have experiences with this problem? If so, what is the proper way to flush the core? Thanks!

does anyone have a manual or can help me find a manual for the suzuki dr 600 1986 ...plzzzzzzzzzzz?
I had to do this on my Jeep before. There should be a drain plug at the bottom of the core, open it up and let it drain. Keep the plug open. Next, there will be a hose coming out the top of the core, disconnect this hose where they meet(it's easy) Take your garden hose put it in the opening at the top and turn the water on. Leave it running for a while(until the water coming out the drain plug is clean), then put it all back together.I found that water works better than air being that you usually have to clean everything off anyway.
Just keep the water away from your electrical. It worked for me.
I am looking at a 2004 Dodge Stratus, Can anyone tell me what they think of this car?
Disconnect the inlet/outlet hoses. Rig up a higher pressure blower to one side or the other. Blow 'til your hearts content.Does this help any?
