Nissan Xterra...?

Question:
I own a 2004 Nissan Xterra, the mileage is around 43000 and every time I drive and the RPM goes by the 3 mark it makes a grinding noise. I took it to the Nissan Dealership and they said they couldn't kind the problem. Also, when I was going over 80 MPH the vehicle jerked like it like it was almost about to give up, it happened like three times and everytime it happed it was speeding over 80 on the interstate.

find a different dealer it should still be under warranty take a mech or sevice writer from with you and duplicate the problem

I have the same year and about the same mileage on my Xterra and it did that one day and I called my fiance freaking out b/c I thought my transmission was going and he told me to look down at the shifter and see if it was in drive instead of 2D and it was lol so it might have been something as simple as that! Also do you have cruise control on it? Sometimes (in a lot of cars not just the xterras) it will jerk just b/c its trying to stay consistant and the road is hilly.
