I drive a Ford Escape and I've never had any problems with a Ford but I worked with a girl who had a focus and that car was always in the shop for something. I can't even remember now what all she had to fix but I can remember that she replaced the fuel pump, alternator and then she had a problem where all her dashboard lights would go on and off. She may have had a lemon but I'd still be leary...How to take t-top off without a key on MR2??
I drive a ford focus estate 1.8 ghia and have never had any problems with it and I've had it for about 3 years now. The only thing i found was that the insurance was quite high for younger drivers but other than that it's a good car. The fuel guage goes wonky. It'll light up top say you're low and when you get a top up the guage still shows empty for ages.I drove a 1.6 over 100,000 miles over 3 years and in general they're very reliable cars
