It isn't gonna hurt it. My husbands family owns a body shop. It is bad to have too much transmission fluid in you car not good!

Does anyone know where I can rent, not lease, a blue SCION tC for short-term trips here in south Florida?

IF the fluid level raises to the point that it is in contact with the rotating mass of the transmission, it will whip the fluid into foam. this foam will expand rapidly, and overflow out your vent and in worse case out the dipstick. this foam is highly flammable. I personally lost a nice 71 LTD 2 dr yrs ago this way, only it was due to a filter clog that forced the convertor oil into the pan, out the dipstick, and onto the manifold, setting my beautiful luxury coupe on fire. It was the death of it.

Which Subaru STI is better, the japanese or asian pacific version.?

Bad idea..can cause a multitude of additional problems. Carry it to the shop, service transmission, i.e. change fluid, filter an seal. Check your modulator valve if this does not solve the slipping. If none if this works, the bands in the tranny are shot and it will need to be rebuilt or replace.

What is the best hand car wash in the Bay area, CA?

To much oil in trans, will cause oil to come out of the vent, additives can only help if the internal seals are hard and causing pressure loss,my experience is most modern type trans don`t benefit from these additives.

How much would a 572 big block go for?

Yes Its bad. And depending on the year of your car, and or miles on your trans. Lucas is the only additive I would put in my own car. And it works.

Comparing k7 1000 suzuki to k4 1000?

lucas transfix is a good start it got me about another 50 miles out of a toasted ram tranny. but if its just a lil slip sounds like ya need a band adjustment.most shops can handle this pretty quick an easily.generally less than a day at the shop
( some vehicles transmission pans are harder to get to so therefore need a longer time to perform the work) your blazer is real wheel drive, so adjusting the bands should really just take an hour or two.if the fluids been in there awhile then that would be a good time to go ahead and have the tranny flushed, trans pan cleaned, and a new filter installed. expect to pay around 200 dollars when all i said an done, though the shop you use may be more or less costwise.itll still be alot cheaper than burning up your transmission and having to replace it

My sister put too much in her car, it toast the tranny within a week. It wasnt even that much over, and it didnt have any previous tranny problems either.

Where are the front floor jack points on a 1998 Ford Taurus?

Now my other sister her tranny was just slipping on her 2000 Malibu, she went to Lube Pros and had it changed. It was nasty and they said that should take care of the problem. We caught it early though. It only cost $30. You could take it in there and do that, then if you want to add the Lucas just have them add it and then top it off.
