I'm looking into buying any of the above year Chargers (the new one is HIDEOUS!) but I wanted to get some info on it. I heard it has horrible gas mileage? I want an automatic (can't drive stick, ha). Basically just the gas mileage, what to expect mechanically, up-keep, price ranges for a good one, what to look for, etc.

if you are looking for one that you can just drive with out having to fix then this is the cheapest ones. as for matinance they just need to be serviced just like any other car
and the gas mileage is from 8-12 mpg for the big blocks and 10-19 for the small block

If your worried about gas milage you need to look elsewhere other than a Charger.Problem with my fiat punto power steering, failing? power steering becomes heavy.?
I like the 66-67 Charger as well. But it is a RARE RARE Mopar these days. I've only come across say 3 in a 50 miles me in 17 years of driving. The 68-69 redesign do to the Dukes tv show have always sold more. dude if your worried about gas millage buy a honda your talking about muscle car that prolly at best get about 10 to 12 miles per gallon and thats driving like a old lady and if you find one your going to pay out the *** for it especially if it's an rt or a hemi 66 and 67 look alike 68 to 70 look alot a like the 68 has round tail lights where a 69 and 70 has the long and a 70 has a full bumper that goes around the grill a 69 has the split in it good luck in finding them but the 68 throughh 70 are the most popularMore Questions & Answers ...
