I have a 2001 toyota celica. I'd like prices for just the front bumper to be attached/painted and prices for a full body kit (front bumper, back bumper and side skirts) to be put on/painted.
can a person install a used heater core for replacement?
I need prices including the body kit and prices if I bought the kit seperately and just want them to put it on and paint it. I live in New Jersey. Thank you!!

As far as the full kit.
It will vary greatly depending on what type of front bumper you get.
There are fiberglass kits, Urethane Kits, and the Fiberglass+Urethane Kit mixes...all will have different pricing because of composition and the price will be different based on sytle.

As far as the front bumper bing attached...that will depend on the bodyshop. Some bodyshops dont favor doing outside jobs that are not related to collision work...or just dont like tuners in general.

You also must be aware that some kits needs some prep for imperfections or blemishes...and sometimes a little prep to the car as well.

The paint on the other hand...is a nother picky issue.
Sometimes you can just have the bumpers put on the car...make sure they fit right...prep anything that needs to be...remove the bumpers and then paint them seperately. This is pretty much economical...but could look a little funny with freshly apinted bumpers on a 5year old car...
I recommend a little blending...whereas the bumpers are prepped and installed, and then they are painted on the car...so for the front bumper....when its painted a good portion of your hood is painted as well...as well as the fenders and a little of the rear qtr panels.
This will eliminate the possible new bumper look on a old car or where you can tell where the paint is new and old.
So...as far as kit prices...(depedning on the style you pick)

Why don't you call a few body shops in the area? Trolling on the internet is going to get Bob from FLORIDA saying, "YEah, I'm goin' do it for too fiddy", lol, which will be a waste of time. Basically, it doesn't sound like you know anybody who's good and who'll do it for free/cheap soooo......DODGEMAN, Dodge ram question!?
It all depends on the kit, they are tons of them out there for aftermarket and the kits' prices vary a lot. If you're worried about the reputation of these body shops look them up on the better business bureau and ask for referrals from them from previous work (treat it like a housing contractor, check up on them).

I would strongly vote against you buying the kit, if it don't fit you're stuck returning it (RETURN SHIPPING!). If it doesn't fit and the body shop ordered it then they have to make it right. It looks easy on Pimp My Ride but it ain't (Shelomen episode, the Aztec artsy chica). I put on a spoiler on my car once and I was sooo frustrated and it was OEM (original equipment)! Darn you Honda, lol, just kidding. I got it on and it worked great but I was nervous about drilling holes in my trunk.

Combine that with research with BBB and even asking local mechanics which of the 3 companies is best will get you an idea (without them getting a referral kickback...for instance....beware of "Tell them Gyasi sent you" because they are getting money to tell you that).

Bumper replaced will be hundreds (say about 400-1000). Depends on if its NEW OEM or used OEM (junkyard but still good) or even FAKE aftermarket junk (not advised).
Body Kit and Installed could be in the thousands just for the parts, then tack on another 100% for the install. Any body place worth it's salt will give you a quote in writing. However, you need to be consistent and specific with what you want otherwise it could be manipulated and even so you're comparing apples to apples, which is fair to your bidders. Don't let them give you something back with ANY scratchs or little paint bubbles, that's inferior workmanship.

Is it worth putting thousands of dollars into it if the engine is old? Only a doofus would put, say, thousand dollar spinning wheels on a POS. That's a new car down payment, so weigh how much longer the car is going to last into it strongly. Especially because new car makers are always looking at aftermarket kits for new design ideas.

Check out Car-Parts.com just for list of junk yards in your area for a list of prices. Be sure that you can RETURN it, not exchange....FULL REFUND.... if it's not right. Watch out for some bullcrap restocking fee, there are some real con artists out there. You can look up every part on it and read carefully they might even have the right color in decent shape. If you want to go cheap and not even have it repainted....that's another way to go too. If you're varying between just getting it fixed and pimping it out, I'd suggest just get it fixed. Save the rest towards a newer car that has the body style and hott color you like already.

Maybe about $500 for the front with paint. It depends a lot on what style of kit and paint. Search for some websites including www.visionautodynamics.com and enter your year and car (It has front, rear, and full body kits, that aren't painted).
