whats the easiest or cheapest way to add a lot of power to a dodge magnum?

My headlight bulb blew out...?
A cold air intake will add maybe 5 hp at the wheels. You have to remember that you'll get better gains with the more stuff you do. They all work together. You're not gonna feel much of a difference just adding the cold air intake. You want to add a cold air intake, ported throttlebody, rockers, cam, heads, headers, and free flowing exhaust, and maybe a computer flash from B&G Chrysler (do a search on B&G Chrysler). And trust me, Its not gonna be cheap, once the modding bug bites, its all over. Or you can just make things easy and add a supercharger or turbo to your magnum, but thats not cheap either. Try checking out dodgetalk.com, theres a forum there just for magnums, they can help you out the best there. How much will a second hand maruti gypsy or mahindra jeep cost in delhi?
Cold air intakes are bunk.If you're serious about performance, think heads and cams.
the best answer is >>>>>none, the engine control unit,,ecu
is set for 250 even if you replaced the cam or pistons.look
the transmission in tha car cant even handle 250 hp.befor it
shifts it turns off the injectors to cut power
Does chevrolet still make the chevrolet epica?
I agree with anywhere. My brother wanted to add this cold air intake at a hugh cost to his truck and don't know where these ideas come from. My "first" degree was as a mechanic at the age of 17 and I always understood that the better the "vaporization" of fuel the better performance. Cold air would just hinder this process wouldn't it?, so how can you get more horsepower out of fuel that is not properly vaporizing? I always used high lift cams or bored out (oversized) the block with oversize rings for more power in my cars as a kid...plus converted the intake to 4 barrel carbs, of which aren't used much anymore. I told my brother to "forget" the cold air injecting system, at the cost he wanted to pay. Instead he's buying a high performance classic Camaro...1993 Ford thunderbird heating problems?
prolly not much.but you will notice better throttle response..CAI's are pretty much the best bang for your buck..then again domestic parts are cheaper than imports.may want to do some research on that..good luckMore Questions & Answers ...
