Does anyone have any idea on how to program a remote for a 92 chevy caprice classic?
Matt, we put lift on our jeeps to clear the tires, so what size tires do you want? To even put 31's on your yj you need about 2 inches. To put 33's you need about 4 inches, 35's need about 5 inches. How bumpy do you want your ride? How much less fuel efficiency will you accept? What motor, trans, and axles do you currently have? Why won't Uhaul attach a trailor onto a Ford Explorer?
To answer without any of the above info get some really aggresive looking 31" tires that will run fine on the road, and an inch and a 1/2 shackle lift and hammer down.
You can put any size tire you want, but remember that the larger the tire, the more stress on the drive train! IF you put 33" tires, you need at least a 2.5" lift to clear, but running stock gears, you'll probably not be able to use 5th gear or have trouble with the automatic constantly down shifting.
The one rule most people don't consider when upgrading, is the domino affect! The tires affect the axles, which effect the trans, which affect the engine.
To make a long answer short, if you want bigger tires, look into necessary upgrades to go with it!
