my 98 auto has broken down, it starts but it sounds lik im reving the engine but im not touching it! it also dies unless im pressing the gas, somone told me that its only running off of two cylinders. is this common in neons? if i decide not to fix it whats a resonable asking proce its a 4 door and is in pretty good cond.

You need to have a mechanic look at it. It could be as simple as two plug wires pulled off. Maybe somebody wants to buy it cheap so they made it run bad. You can't get much for a car running on two cylinders. Get a real mechanic to look at it, not some neighborhood "expert", that way you will know what the problem is, what it costs to fix and where you stand.
