What do I have to do to replace a 2004R with 700r4?

Its a rear wheel drive 88 cadillac. They did use a 4 speed 200r4 this year so folks please dont tell me it should have a th 350 3 speed in it!

the easiest and only way is to use the unicase 700r4 case. you will need a detent cable for the 700r4. i believe the case lengths are the same and should work with out haveing to change the drive shaft length. the lock-up solenoid wires will hook up betweent the two as well. the only thing you will have to play around with is the speedometer gears to get the right ratio.
