How is the ventilation in the 2006 Ford Explorer?

My mom has a 1995 Explorer and back then it had 4 vents up front--among a few dozen other differences. From the pictures I've seen the thing only has 2 vents up front? Have they like increased the ability of ventilation systems to output air or something? Two vents in a truck seems a little low.
