Question:
I have a 90 Accord. It keeps turning off on me while driving. It just dies out. It will start right back up and run fine. The fuel pump and fuel filter are new so I know that isn't the problem. I know it needs an ignition switch because on occasion it wont start or the key will get stuck. Could this be causing the car to turn off? I've needed to replace that but the has been running fine til a few days ago. Or could it be something else?

Where is the inline fuel filter on s10 4w drive truck 1987 2.8 fuel infection?
it could also happen because of a fuel relay a mechanic can hook up a pressure meter to it and see if it is just loosing pressure then shutting off thats if it shutts off not to long after you started it again. if not then it is just your ignition!! go to your local auto store ie pep boys autozone etc and buy the ignition and do it your selfCan some help me find a trunk cover for a 91 Honda crx?
yes it COULD be that switch... actually sounds alot like it to me. as soon as it is not in the run position it will shut down, if the cylinder is all f'ed up it may be loosing that contact without the key needing to move. or i could be way off, it is a 90 accordHow many seats does a 2004 yukon have?
more than likely you hit the nail on the head, replace the switch, it could be grounding out every now and then.I had the same problem with my eclipse. Try checking the battery cables and make sure they are tight and connecting all the way. At least thats how i got my car to start again,
It's a Honda. How can there be anything wrong with it? Aren't they the best car in the whole world.
