Does anyone know why a brand new GMC Acadia would have rust on the exhaust system?

I bought a new GMC Acadia about a month ago. I love the car, but I noticed that the exhaust system seems to be rusted. I read the review on other Acadias and someone else mentioned this. Has anyone had it corrected yet?

is it really rust? or does it just appear to be? Sometimes poor quality tubing can turn a rusty color after some high heated trips.

If it is rust give your local GM dealership a call and ask if they have addressed any recalls or TSB's (technical service bulletins)

I think that it's funny that exhaust rusts in the first place if you think about it... lol there really shouldn't be any oxygen in the exaust ya know... anyway... cheap tubing, location, also... just because that car was manufactured recently, doesn't mean that that exaust pipe was cut recently... ya know... how long was that pipe sitting in a warehouse before it was attached to a vehicle??
