I recently bought a1994 jeep wrangler is it a YJ or CJ or what and can you put a chevy engine in it?

I would recommend putting in a 4G63 (the 2.0L) simply because there more readily available and cheaper as they are a popular tuner engine and more common than the 64. Plus there's a lot more support out there for them. The swap isn't that difficult, just make sure the motor comes with the wiring harness and computer if you decide to switch. Or you could put in a 4G63-T, the turbocharged version :)
