when i am driving my 94 jeep cherokee all of a sudden i hear a loud niose coming from the back of the car, it sounds like a drop or somethin i have no idea wat it is it scairs the sht out of me and i am clueless on wat it is, mainly when i am driving on the highway it will do it, it really feels like my back tires are about to come off,please help

I have a 93 Cherokee and have never had that problem with it. I would start with the easy visual stuff first. Check the tires. Do you have a lift and bigger tires? If so check to make sure your drive shaft isn't binding. Then I would look into the rear end. Just take diff. cover off and do a visual inspection. A guy in our club had a rear shock mount actually come loose one time and described it about the same way but it was only once. Good luck and I hope this helps

It could be the tread on the tires peeling off. If you have retreads on your Jeep. Look all around each tire for spots that have no tread. The tire could still be inflated.

The same thing happened to me a while back and it was the tread splitting apart. Check the tread. It should feel kinda like you are going over a bump with every revolution of the tire.
