Can FUEL pumps start to fail "off and on" "over time"? or do they just fail completely?
I own a shop, and would suggest using what your owners manual says. If not, then go to a parts store, and get some Prestone that says on the bottle "works in all vehicles". Another idea is to get it from the dealer. You may pay more for it, but at least you will know you have the correct stuff.Glad to help out, Good luck!
Are new Chevy Cobalts good, dependable cars; or if i get one will it end up being a rattletrap?
Dex-Cool. It is orange in color. DON'T PUT THE GREEN STUFF IN OR IT WILL CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE'95 mustang - can not figure it out?
Adding a comment to my original post:
The orange coolant is silicate free. You can use any brand you want but it must be Dex-Cool equivalent and orange. Don't listen to the people that tell you to put anything you want in. Look at the label on top of the overflow bottle cap. It tells you "Special coolant required"
Dex-Cool is much better for the environment than the green stuff. That's why they use it, and the system is designed around using it.
